"Na caikam tad-anyam dvitiyam kutah syat
na va kevalatvam na ca-kevalatvam,
na sunyam na ca-sunyam-advaita-katvat
katham sarva-vedanta-siddham bravimi."
na = not;
ca = and;
ekam = One;
tat = that;
anyam = other;
dvitiyam = second;
kutah syat = How can there be?
na = neither;
va = or;
kevalatvam = absoluteness;
na = nor;
ca = and;
akevalatvam = non-absoluteness;
na = neither;
sunyam = non-entity (void);
na = not;
ca = and;
asunyam = entity (non-void);
advaita-katvat = absolutely non-duel in its nature;
katham = how then can;
sarva-vedanta-siddham = established by all Upanishads;
bravimi. = I speak of.
"It can even be said that it One. How can there be a second, other than it? There is neither absolute-ness, neither non-entity ( void), nor entity ( non-void) for, It is absolutely non-dual in Its nature. How then can I speak of That which is established by all the Upanishads?
